Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy IT Support Executive to join our school’s operations team. This role is essential for maintaining smooth IT operations, supporting staff, teachers, and students with hardware, software, and network issues. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about enabling a seamless educational environment through reliable technology support.

Key Responsibilities:
IT Helpdesk & User Support:
  • Provide first-line technical support to staff, teachers, and students via face-to-face, phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot common issues with computers, printers, projectors, and school devices.
  • Deliver basic user training on software tools like Microsoft Office 365 and school systems.
Hardware & Software Maintenance:
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and classroom AV equipment.
  • Perform regular updates, backups, and antivirus scans to ensure system security.
  • Manage IT inventory, including tracking devices and supplies.
Network & Infrastructure Support:
  • Monitor and maintain school Wi-Fi, network connectivity, and internet services.
  • Assist with setup for labs, events, and online learning platforms.
  • Coordinate basic repairs and escalate complex issues to vendors.
Reporting & Compliance:
  • Conduct daily/weekly IT checks and generate reports on system status and incidents.
  • Ensure data backups and adherence to school IT policies and data protection standards.
  • Liaise with auditors or external IT providers as needed.
Collaboration & Projects:
  • Support school-wide IT initiatives, such as new system rollouts or events.
  • Work closely with the admin, academic, and facilities teams for integrated support.


Requirements:
  • Education: Diploma or Certificate in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in IT support, helpdesk, or technical role (school/education preferred).
